The thought of a young man.

I live in a complicated country !!!

Under other skies, young people of my generation have already seen several presidents marching at the head of their country. I always wonder if I would have this opportunity, because for me, I know only one !!!

For all these years of my existence in Cameroon, I have settled in my country a set of things that find hearts and souls fertile for their growth. The corruption that once earned us agold palm of world ; The embezzlement of public funds that have facilitated the constitution of a whole government, or an administration by prisoners of another kind in our prisons that adequately testify to the dishonest and wobbly governance of our country. How can we forget the galloping incivism that is rife in our cities, both urban and rural? It is to ask the question "what is that?".

My country is more complicated because it is one of the few countries in the world to have two foreign languages as official national languages. This is an asset and may occasionally be a handicap. #Englophones and #Francophones are commonly used to refer to people whose origins are by birth, the areas of the country colonized respectively by the English and the French. There are therefore two modes of governance, administration and education which coexist, which complement and oppose each other.

Today, my country is at a crossroads. It will pass or it will break!

In any case, I think that whatever shocks us in the way our country is managed, the motivation of our demands must be the well-being of all. With respect for institutions that are above human, human rights that are fundamental to the development of peoples, we must not call people to violence. We must not deprive people of enjoyment by threats to their fundamental rights (freedoms of expression, rights to education, freedom to move and to undertake ...). I am for frank and taboo-free discussions on all issues that could strengthen good governance and accountability in the management of our country. For "If a kingdom is divided against itself, this kingdom can not subsist" (Mark 3:24).

I know, I'm just a young man. But I know that I have a place in this country, in this continent and in this world. That is why, this space will be a part of my voice, to say every time what I think about what is happening around and even far away of me.

Thanks for reading me.

God bless you.
